No. Due to glacier movement and safety regulations, helicopters do not land at Everest Base Camp. Instead, we land at Kala Patthar, which offers the best and closest panoramic view of Mount Everest.
The helicopter flies up to approximately 6,000 meters, with a landing at Kala Patthar around 5,545 meters.
Safety is our top priority. If weather conditions are unfavorable, the flight will be rescheduled or fully refunded as per HSJ policy. Early-morning flights are preferred for better visibility.
